The brown carpet was always a reminder to me of the comfort and security of my parents’ house. And always, always, it was the cushy furniture that came first to my mind, followed by the ceilings and walls. In all honesty, I can not think of anything more reassuring or comforting than the feel of that large, brown carpet on my bare feet.
