The wooden table above the red floor isn’t in fact a table at all. It is instead a platform on which a chair has been positioned in such a way as to make an almost vertical rise from the floor. The words and the numbers on the wooden board are not visible, but the effect is purely and simply to make the body of the table disappear, to make the space correspond to the sound of the words and the numbers, so that the contact of the viewer with the floor, and the subsequent return to the center, is purely a physiological phenomenon.
