At the center of the large white room, a television set equipped with everything a modern man or woman would have wanted – an always-on, always-invisible set top, always displaying the latest newshounds, always lit up, on all fours, singing the latest hits, taking part in spontaneous exclamations, and – in a toast – having their picture taken without even asking for a glass of water!
